Relatively early in the pandemic, as brands were figuring out how to navigate advertising in a world where shoots weren’t really possible and normal life seemed a long way off, Jason Esser asked if he thought we could make an engaging video for a cruise that no one would be able to take for a year on a ship that hadn’t even been built yet. That seemed like a particularly interesting challenge so we set about finding footage that spoke to an adventure we had no footage of. Music by Joel Pickard was key in setting the tone of mystery and adventure that we needed and every stock house on the internet got a call from me in my searches. I love how this turned out because of the challenges presented by the assignment, not in spite of them.
