True Classic is a sportswear brand that has experienced exponential growth in the past several months. To capture this explosion of exposure, they wanted to get some marketing out there that established their brand’s unique voice in a sea of competitors. Ryval Studios brought me on to cut True Classic’s very first TV campaign and I was incredibly excited to have the opportunity to work with such a cool brand and get to cut some comedic spots shot by some of my favorite collaborators. Luckily we had some freedom to go long with one of the :30s- there was just too much good stuff in “Dad Bod” to leave on the floor. Great comedic performances to work with here- it’s quite a luxury to be choosing which takes are the funniest rather than just the ones that “work” and this footage was full of funny.
