Mercury Marine launched a revolutionary boat engine and needed a video to bring to conventions that would get the crowd as excited as they were to get behind the rudder of one of these powerful tools. The combination of interview footage and beautiful aerial footage shot on-location in Mercury’s Florida proving grounds was so impressive that we decided to show them both at once in a split screen. We were lucky enough to come across some archival footage as well and used the split screen there to show the direct line of innovation that led to the Mercury Bedrock project. This video won Best Online Video at the Marine Marketers of America Awards in 2011.
