To build excitement leading up to the Leinenkugel’s Summer Shandy 2014 launch on March 1st, we produced 8 teaser :15 spots to count down the days. To speak to Leinenkugel’s commitment to producing hand-crafted beers, the teaser was shot on a hand-cranked plastic film camera called a Lomokino. I cut and scanned the negatives, working frame-by frame to produce a unique, classic home movie feel to the spots. An excellent opportunity to match the client’s voice with a singular style that hasn’t been seen before.
We incorporated this look and new footage shot for the Chicago and Detroit regional market shoots. I worked that footage into the existing national spots produced by our friends at The Norman Brothers to create two new spots specific to those markets.
